Ran accross the Hinckley United football site http://www.hinckleyunitedfc.org. Triumph sponsors them. I emailed them about getting a jersey.

Amen.....at an absolute push maybe, MAYBE i could wear the Blue and Red, but only when i was in the house with the lights out and the family were away somewhere. Oh and i would need to be intoxicated.

Hey Adey, how did your baggies do yesterday.

Too much like Crystal Palace!
I'd PAY MONEY to see an Arsenal fan wearing a Crystal Palace shirt!!!!

As is usually the case at this time of the week, I don't know what day it is (I thought they played tomorrow for some reason! ).
I just checked the result and all I can say is they were robbed by a Cockerny pub team!!

Just as long as Terry 'Enry didn't score - for the love of God don't say he scored.

FA Cup on Saturday, Burton Albion at home to Halifax ... c'mon you Breeeeewerrrrs!!
I've elected to give the home games a wide birth this season (only seen about four games), I must jinx 'em - they play sh!te!
They have a better away record than home. Go figure!!

I'm doing my DIY bit at the ex's this weekend so I might see if I can pick up tinpot Derby local radio at her place in sarf Brum and listen in.

And excuse me, that'll be Baggies to you sir!!!

They're only about 30 miles from me so if no one has any joy with international shipping etc, I could get them if folks want to PayPal the money to me.

Obviously, looking like Wolves shirts, I'd have to wear some sort of gloves to handle them

Hi Guys,

Sorry we've not woken up to twentieth century commerce, yet.

I'll look into what we need to do and come back to you with a price, postage and payment method. Plus an option for name and number printing. I'll see if we can do a 'full kit' price, too. We've a kid's version, too!

Give me a week to talk to the right people, though.
I'll try and get some photos, too.

Cheers.

Ade, If we can't order directly, you can get the shirts for us and send them to just one of us over here. That person can then send them off to everyone. Make life easier.

That would only work if:
1. Everyone ordered at the same time or
2. Everyone was prepared to order and wait until everyone else ordered their's .....

Good idea though.
I'd have to charge postage but I doubt it would be much as the shirts will be quite light.

If Dave from Hinkley wants to PM me, I'll gladly liase with them.
Might get a small discount for a decent sized order?? Just a thought ...

Arsenal shirts normally run around 70 - 80 Dollars each if you buy then for some of the soccer stores here in the US. I get mine direct from the Arsenal shop, I pay a little more, but I rather give the extra to the club then third party. Even allowing for these shirts being from a non-league team i bet they still run 50 - 60 dollars each plus postage.

Take a look at the Hinckley United web site, they have a nice water proof top that is all dark blue with a big Triumph logo across the front. Dont know how much that would be but its a good looking top.

Alright all

only just been informed of this thread so thought you may like some info. below are pics of the home (Blue and Red) and away (Amber) kits for season 2006-2007. They are priced at £32 plus Airmail costs. Unfortunately we are amateurs and are still trying to put together some kind of tinterweb shop thingy, but it's not ready yet. If you have already emailed then your mails have probably been passed on to the Club Shop Manager, if you haven't and you would like a replica top then feel free to contact the club shop manager by email clubshop@hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk and he will give you all the details you will need. There is the facility to pay via PayPal should you wish.

I don't want to put anyone off, but the price quoted was in Pounds sterling - conversion to $'s is going to make these about $55 plus shipping.

Just so no-one gets a nasty shock when the credit card statement arrives!

Thanks Nobby for the reminder. I did the conversion as soon as I saw the proposed price. Been dealing a bunch with multiple currencies lately, so it didnt slip my mind this time.

Question - What would be the difference between a "replica" top, and as we say here, "the real deal"?

Question 2 - What does "full-kit" mean?

There is no real defference worth worrying about.

Full kit means shorts and knee length socks as well as the shirt.

a replica top means a copy of the shirt that the players wear. exactly same material and same sponsors logos etc but just not with a name or number printed on.

a full kit as explained a bit further up is the playing shirt (jersey as you would say), shorts and socks.

it's very rare to see fans in a full kit in this country as it looks a bit, erm, "over the top" for want of a better word without being too abusive. so most clubs simply do a replica of the playing shirt.
