Um, that's 89.5p per litre. It's too late to work out the conversion right now but it's at least 3 times what we pay. Since that car gets 5 mpg it's certainly an expensive prospect to have one in England. He's done a heck of a job building it though.

And he's a Black Country boy too ... just a shame it's Wolverhampton. Then again, had it been West Bromwich (my old home town) that would've been nicked and stripped for parts in 10 minutes .....

Left hand drive Vauxhall Thats is one wild ride. But dont be surprised if some spooty little teenager tries to burn him off in a Vauxhall Nova. HA HA, HEMI, we dont need no stinking HEMI.

OK so I couldn't resist taking a shot at the math.
At 89.5 Pence per litre, it would be 3.39 British Pounds per U.S. Gallon. And using the current exchange rate, thats $6.35 per U.S. Gallon. When I was there a few weeks ago it was more like $8/gallon. No wonder there are a lot of diesels and four cylinder cars. The only V-8 I saw was a Mercedes taxi and it was running on LP gas.
