Now there are cameras everywhere, and I would hazard to guess that we are subject to having a video shot of us more often than our former communist counterparts were.

I was watching a documentry on the descovery channel not so long ago and they were highlighting the fact that the Metropolitan Police, AKA, London Police, are now in a position where every street in the West End of London is now covered with CCTV. Forinstance, They can track a shoplifter on Oxford Street and track him all the way to Picadilly some 8 or 9 blocks away and that person never be out of their sight.

I guess Big Brother has good and bad points.

Which brings me to another topic, somewhat related.

How many of you have played on the Google Earth program. This is a computer program that has mapped out the entire planted with saterlites. it is brilliant. you can zoom in all the way from space. I find once you get past about 350 feet the image becomes a bit blurred. Makes you wonder, if the general public has access to programs like this, imagine what the military has at there disposal. Maybe the rumour i heard that the military can use saterlite to look over your shoulder read the newspaper you are reading is true.
