Soren,

Look on the bright side. When Oregon approves the GPS tracking/taxing devices, old fashioned fuel taxes can be lessened .

That system has been muted over here.
I can imagine if they do drop fuel prices to allow for this, it won't take the b*stards long to raise the fuel prices again AND keep the tracking system.

$1.89.9 at the Walmart 4 miles up the street. $1.92.9 most other places. $2.08.9 for 92 octane.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I'd rather pay the higher price for gas than go on the gps tracking/mileage tax.

It amazes me how much the price fluctuates. I rode today in VA, WV and MD. I paid .36 gallon more in WV and MD than I do in VA. Bottom price was 1.93 in Virginia and top was 2.29 in WV.

WOOO HOOOO, HOT DAMM!! They're practically giving the stuff away here in CT for a paltry $2.35/gal (for 89)!!

OK, while I'm on the subject, lemme tell ya about these dirtly, scum-sucking, bilge licking, bunghole surfers at the gas station round here! As everyone knows, the BS (bunghole surfer) post the lowest gas prices in the area for most states anymore on the Internet. Well, this of course is based on normal 87 octane. NORMALLY, in almost ANY other part of the state, or any other state, you can NORMALLY add on say 10 cents to that price to figure out where to get relatively cheap 89 for our bikes and my car! Well, NO, that crazy system isn't good enough around here in Danbury! I can't count how many (the VAST majority) stations will have a dirt cheap price for 87, let's say $2.22 for example. But 89 is then posted at a ridiculously high price of $2.72!!!!! WTF?!!!! Finally, I'll stumble on some little CITGO or Valero tucked into a hard to get into spot, and find it for $2.32, hmmm, only 10 cents more than the 87! Gee, how can that be? Might we be playing the shell game with gas prices?! Sucker people in with a REALLY low price for 87 on the Internet, so that morons like me will come there thinking that the 10cents/gal "rule" applies, only to find that I've wasted 10 minutes and 5 miles to get there and see that the Gas I need is actually 50 cents a gallon more than it should be!!!
