Freedom didn't make it clear, I think, that there's this little town called Hope (hence the name of the thread) up at the northern end of this amazingly deep, huge lake dotted with islands and surrounded by mountains.
And as if that weren't enough, the village next door grabbed the name, East Hope and the folks down the highway named their's, (you guessed this, right?) Beyond Hope. And I used to know a girl whose last name was Hope. Sixth grade being the hell that it is, we nicknamed her "No."
And people think North Idaho's just a hang out for White Supremacists (sp?)...
