Well beings this may be the last nice day till Spring 2007 I met Del (Roadie) for a caffeinated beverage in Sandpoint and ride back along the north shore of Lake Pend O Reille to Hope for New York pizza (Hippies Use This Door) on a bluff overlooking the lake. We decided the weather and view was unsurpassed and only needed more members from this forum for company, and to maybe pick up the tab. During the late lunch I observed that a person ought to follow the wisdom of more august members of ba.com, slow down and enjoy the ride as they are certainly numbered in mid-October.
Roadie went west I went east. At the Hope stop sign I waved to a couple headed east on a BMW GS and fell in behind them. We stopped briefly at a bridge construction stop light and only had time to agree it was a beautiful day and this might be "it". The guy had a ponytail down to his waist and the woman was very pretty. I thought I would be neighborly, obliging and tag along behind as far as east as they went. We started along at 80 mph, then fell into a routine 85-95 for the next 70 miles to my home town. Granted that Beemer could have smoked me, but it's deer country and no sense being Krazy. Part of me also said "the little engine that could" will darn near certain keep up

.
Anyway, Roadie I promise to slow down next time

Thanks for lunch and the visit.
