Unfortunately, my digital camera just went on the fritz so I can't post better pictures just yet. I'll try to get some in a day or two.
However, I will try to describe it. You see in the photos the two chrome bolts that hold on the passenger footpeg bracket? If you remove those bolts the passenger footpeg bracket comes off and you are left with two threaded bosses that are welded to the frame of the motorcycle.
I took a 1/4" thick steel bar (about 2" wide) and drilled two holes with the same spacing as the threaded bosses along the centerline of the bar (on the 2" wide side). Then, if you line these holes up with the threaded bosses, the bar will be angling downward and towards the front of the bike. The Passenger footpeg bracket is then bolted back into place (with longer bolts) OVER this flat steel bar.
Welded to the bottom end of the flat steel bar is a piece of square steel tube that extends forward along the bike right above the muffler. Attached to the front end of this square steel tube are a standard set of Triumph folding passenger pegs.
