Bob...an alternate is to move the buddy pegs to the lower bolt setting on the peg hangers....it is a sporty position but when I go on 500+ mile road trips the position is very comfortable and worked well this last week when I had to travel the roads in Kentucky (Rough Roads).... and really, my wife likes the position for her better as passenger and it got rid of those (my opinion) ugly peg hangers.........................
