My speedometer is off one direction and the odometer off the other. Clocked with a GPS, my speedo when reading 78 is actually 73. The odometer reads about 5% FEWER miles than I actually go.

A NY State Trooper confirmed my thoughts that my speedo is
off by about 10% on my way home from Pat's. He said I was
going 87, I had an indicated 95.

Almost all my riding is back roads, not to much highway at all and Ill usually get 135-140 miles when I have to switch to reserve.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

The bikes we tested the speedo's and od's were off on all 4. Didn't actually test how much off the od's were but I think I may now. They were all showing more milage than actual.

I get 42-46 in hilly suburban (stop and go) country and as high as 50 on Interstate. Dealer said when I rejetted and added the off road pipes, my mileage would drop but it hasn't.
