Smart thinking to cool off, that's hard to do. I would still stay on the right side though to give you an escape route if need be. Is this wrong? If you're on the left side of the lane she could have just run over you and you would have no where to go but straight forward. our bikes don't make a very good traffic barricade. Fortunately the light was green and she was not trying to make a right-on-red. JMHO.
