Re: hard luggage - I'll believe it when I see it. The mere fact that it's only another $700 seems to indicate that it's actually going to be "Road King" style with existing accessories out of the Triumph catalog: softbags, footboards and roadster windscreen.
If Triumph is watching - that's NOT what we want. We want a real touring bike with hard bags, a tour pack and a real fairing/windshield with lowers optional. Right now that's the only thing that would convince me to go into debt again. Otherwise I'll buy a used R3 off ebay for $10-12k and outfit it with $thousands worth of Corbin bits,
