You want loud? Only one way to go- Sceptres. They sound great and are LOUD. The quality is great. Stainless throughout; Polished to a mirror finish.

Hi Matthew, My suggestion is to be in Georgia in two weeks. You should get every available sound out there for your bike. For now, I am blowing on a pair of (almost) gutted Speedmaster stock pipes. I love the sound - deep growling tone that doesn't tick people off. I love the subtle shape that is reminiscent of days gone by. My carbs are still in need of some tweaking, but I am close. Be patient and go to the Georgia Rally. I am going for the first time, and my expectations are simple: Fellowship with riders like me. Learn all I can about the mods/mistakes/improvements that others have made. And just ride with some very special people that appreciate what motorcycling is really about. Skillet is right. As close as you are to the GA rally you should really get over there and check out everyones set up. There are some great pipes out there, and I imagine there will be a little bit of everything at the rally. I wish I could go.

Hi Matt,
How far away are you from Dahlonega?
How about getting up early Saturday, ride on over, spend the day, and either crash there for the night or ride home later?
You will meet some outstanding people and see some amazing bikes!!!

I would definitly try to at least meet up with us in GA for a day or a half day or something to get your ears around it. Otherwise, do a search for a thread called "loudness order" I think... Might help you out.

Ditch, The BUBs megaphone or Dresser dogs are no longer being made. You might be able to locate a set online, but I am pretty sure BUBS doesn't have any more at the factory ( I live just 25 miles from the factory) I have the dresser dogs and really like them, the look and sound. Loud but not too loud and like the look of the shorter pipes. The slash cut's are still being made, but I have not heard them in action.
BA has Freak, 160mains, 44pilots, air mix3 1/2 to 4 turns, BUBS dresser dogs. Never had more fun on any bike - 2nd bike 2008 RIIIT

There was a set of dresser dogs for $75.00 under classified a few months ago. I paid $384.00 for mine but really like them. Don't waste time removing baffles on stock pipes. They are just too loud especially after you ride 100 miles or more. I tried that at first but like the "dogs" a lot better. By the way ditch dr. what part of S.C. are you from as I am from Surfside Beach via Spartanburg?

The D&D pipes are REALLY loud. Plus they have a nice rumble that sounds cool. Donny, former member that went astray , has a set just gathering dust in his garage. I know he would give you a good price. I would get them but I live in an apartment complex with lots of "greyhairs" and would prbably get excommunicated. -PES
