we're doubly blessed in the metric countries. What with a 10% error and speedo reading in km/h, I can pull 150 no problem on my stocker.
I'll tell you something though, as a kid on a 650 BSA street scrambler I always considered 70mph the dividing line between riding fast and "oops, this scenery is moving past me very quickly". Bikes, traffic, and roads have changed quite a bit in nearly 40 yrs and an indicated 140 kph (80'ish mph) is where I haul myself down now even if there's no risk of police intervention.
