The bars are reduced to 1" at the handles for our grips to fit. Britrover explained to me that the stock cables work fine with these bars. He did say the stock grips are too long though and extend past the end of the bars and Drag Specialties sells grips to fit. All for now. I will get on this project right after Biketoberfest is over and let you know how it is progressing and any more pitfalls.
