I saw the new green/silver Scrambler at the factory on Thursday and it looks great. They confirmed that EFI replaces carbs on all of the twins next year. The blue and white America is very nice.

But look for the Phantom Black and the Phantom Black combo paint schemes. They are really sharp. Saw a new Rocket III with the Tornado Red/Phantom Black just coming off the line, very nice.

Had the new Torque for weeks and I don't even show up for events Ben.

I want one of each in all different colors!

Is that too much to ask for???

Saw the pictures on the web site the other day. If the new blue America looks as nice in in the showroom as it does in the pictures I might have to change my name to JT America.

Quite favorable. IMO;

The paint schemes are all tastefully appropriate - Particularly with the Tiger. Some may argue that the colors aren't what they want but, hey, ya gotta mix it up a bit from time to time. I'm crazy about the dark blue and white combo on the BA

The BA/SM wheels are to die for - unless, of course, you're a spokephile.

The engine upgrades along the entire twin line is quite nice - Particularly within the Std. Bonnie, T-100, Scrambler line - Although I'm not a particular fan of the 'torque rules' philosophy in regard to the BA/SM. I'd much rather see the BA/SM specs match the Thruxton's output.

The Urban Sports segment is as usual - Freakin' AWWWWWWESOMMMME.

The Rocket is/remains, well, BIG. It still suffers from an embarrasing wart, and has that ultra-industrial looking engine, and openly displays that automotive sized radiator. That all said, and as ugly a duckling it may be, its beauty is not on the surface but within. Oh yeah, the blacked out engine helps a heap in the appearance department, but what it REALLY needs is some cosmetic surgery. Give it a tank shaped in the Triumph heritage-sans wart, take a laser knife to that wart and toss it into the bushes, do ANYTHING to that radiator EXCEPT put a chrome shroud over it, supply some drag bars, Put a single 7" headlight on the front, and trim down that front mud guard - and there it is -
Speedmaster - SUPERSIZED! I'll have one of those...

My TORQUE was in the box yesterday, so of course I went cover to cover last night.

Tiger - Tiger - Tiger

(Although Have yet to see a pic of the new Tiger 1050 decked out with the hard luggage.)

I am sure I read that the new SRINT ST comes standard with the hard bags, but was that not the TIGER that came with standard hard luggage in years models past? Seems like that was about a $1300 option for the SPRINT ST last year.

I waiting for my new CYCLE WORLD so I can see how the politicos rate the new TIG.

I got mine a couple days ago. BTW... they love the new Tiger, just like they loved the 675 last year. No mention of the re-designed Speedmaster or America (as expected).

The guy that wrote the article about the BA/Speedy certainly didn't put the rumor mill to rest when he closed with "As for all the rumors and reported spy shots... I left Hinkley none the wiser". I'm personally still thinking we'll see it in November!

Not a good pic with luggage...

Here's a link to the 2007 Triumph accessories brochure in pdf. The Tiger luggage is shown on page 58 with a better shot of it on the bike on page 59. There's also a couple of shots of the top box on page 60.

After completing the second year of (trying to) patiently waiting for the Triumph tourers to come out I must say that I am very disapointed but not surprised.

I talked to the dealer this morning. They said that there was no anouncement of a larger bike at the dealer conference, but there was the announcement of the Rocket III bagger (named Rocket III CX) for 2008.
