I noticed a big difference between 2 and 3 baffles removed. Recently put a -2 baffle set on thinking I could fire bike up a little later at night (my driveway is near neighbor's bedroom window), and decided to put my -3 set back on. Biggest difference is top end. I've got a third set I'm going to totally gut and make or buy a long fiberglass wrapped baffle system, a larger diameter TOR, if you will. Rode with someone that had D&Ds a while back, his sounded like when I fired mine up with no silencers, slightly deeper.
