On mine, one of the wires on each light was attached about halfway down that bunch of wires to another wire. That left enough slack to connect to the new location. When I cut the second sleeve, I cut down to that point only, leaving the bottom half of that sleeve. Taped it up real good to that auto parts plastic wire wrap going up to bars.
I made a pair of brackets consisting of 2 pieces of 1/8" aluminum flat stock with 3 holes. Bolted thru headlight bracket in end hole, rear signals in middle hole, a bolt with a spacer to make it rigid through front holes. I'll post some pics when I get home.
