Welp, a couple options exist.
1. Cut the wires before the plug and extend them. Re rap them to the existing ones.
2. Run your wires through the bars for the ultimate sleek look. This is a bit involved though as you have to extend all the wires and drill the bars and fish and drink alot of beer, but the payoff is sweet. here is a link on how to do it.
