I just installed the Staintunes on my 07 America, and they are fantastic. The sound is perfect, a nice tone that reminds me of the Rinehart true duals I had on my Road King. Loud but not offensive when you open the throttle, mellow at cruising speed, and definitely sweet at idle. I re-jetted with 135 mains as they recommended, no other changes. Pulled out the snorkel as well. Highly recommended.

I have the Staintunes on my Speedie. Love 'em.
I have 135's in now...seem a tad lean...going to try 138's when they arrive from Brent's.

I have Staintunes on my 03 Speedy and I like them a lot. They aren't as common as some other brands, maybe because of price, but I think they are worth the money. I pulled mine off last winter and cleaned them up, and I was impressed that they didn't have a speck of corrosion on them after 3 seasons. They looked like new. I run mine with the end reducers in. I've never had the reducers out while riding, but I've heard the sound isn't much louder. Here's a picture of when I was doing my clean-up job. (After three seasons of riding!)

I've got Staintunes on my 05' America and run 135 mains with 3.25 turns. I took the restrictors out and haven't noticed much change. I love the pipes and would recommend them to anyone.

Have not had a dyno run but the Staintune web site claims an increase of 8.5 hp....I do notice an increase in power with mine...suits me.

Yep. Sounds great in real life. The sewing machine sounds of the stock pipes was kind of cool, but the Staintunes give a nice, richer sound...and don't upset my neighbors when I crank her up at 5:30am.

Tony,
Without some work, HD baffles will not fit the OEM pipes. If one header or the exhaust pipe is discoloring differently than the other, it indicates an imbalance. Sync/balance the carbs first....
