[Hand up] I've got a question. I just posted in the lounge and the post was timestamped 02/03/07 02:14 AM. My PC was at 02/02/07 06:14 PM. That's eight hours difference. I am in the Mountain timezone, which is -0700 GMT, so that would mean the server is running one timezone east of Greenwich, or somewhere around ...um....(lessee, googling Greenwich... London... ) Ohhhh, I get it. We are on Hinkley time! I suppose this has been discussed before. Cody

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced
While you're living beyond all your means
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
From the profit he's made on your dreams

No, that would be Italian time ... Hinkley would be an hour behind (01:14). Was it an MV Agusta you were thinking of at the time of your post ... or was it Ducati?
Bedouin.

I crossed a time zone one year on the same day daylight savings time kicked in. For years I attempted to unravel the confusion. I finally gave up.

Ducati? Um, sure, I like Ducatis. Good thing I wasn't thinking about a Ural. Eeesh. I might have timewarped back to 1955.

You think that's bad? When I flew from Australia to the US, I got there about 4 hours before I left!!

Interesting.
Ya know John and Thanassis, this reminds me of my friend's experience with his Royal Infield Bullet recently.
Seems he was having a problem with it, and so he called their toll-free tech support phone number.
Thinking he would of course talk to someone in India(where they currently are being manufactured), he was surprised to learn that he was actually talking to some dude in Milwaukee!(ironic, ain't it?!)
Talk about your "globalization", HUH?!
Cheers, Dwight ("hello, valued customer")
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
