Ok new poll, now that they seem to be coming through with the goods, the whining is over and the partying has begun.

Who here will do buissness with them again?

Me? well if they have another unbelivable sale yep I'll jump on it.

They are having an "open house" all week. Thinking of stoping by if I am ever free during the day May mention to someone how I missed the 50% off sale because the address on their e-mail was WRONG.

Just checked the UPS website and my stuff is to be delivered tomorrow. The wifes day off. I can hear it now "Larry, you got some splainen to do!"

Jeez! Quit your whining! Didn't you already canceled the charges on your credit card? Nobody else appears to be having the same problems as you.

Ok, please be advised...I just discovered I was charged TWICE (to my debit/credit card)...1) when I placed my order and 2) when it shipped.

Their new # is 631-473-6013. I have informed them and am waiting for a return call.

Got my 1/2 price footboards today!!! Along with a nice letter explaining the delay and another 20% discount coupon.

I was getting a "bit" worried but sometimes good deals are worth the wait .

Now that its over to answer Jack's poll.

Hell yes I would order from them again, things happen but they came through in the end.

The next time I will not take my bike apart until after the parts arrive, I missed that one 70% day in Feb.

The only thing that bothers me now is why did I have to find out I was a CT. millioniare after the sale, I would have spent more money.

Got some of my stuff today - one item missing and no reference on the packing slip that it's backordered?? Also - the original email statement shows $8.30 sales tax (which should be $0??) and the packing slip inflated the shipping cost to include the $8.30 tax, and then lists the tax as $0.

It's only a $13.00 belt buckle missing (after discount..) but the communication could use a little improvement...and yes, I was charged for all the items on the 2/5/07.

Not really complaining cause it's a great deal even if they hose me on the tax and missing stuff, but probably need to work on the customer service....

Anybody else getting hit for sales tax??

I was hit with the sales tax but i believe thats cuz I live in CT, it was figured in at the time I placed order, so I was not surprised by it.

They don't really advertise their address....nothing on the email, packing slip or the 20% off apology letter? Are they in CT? I thought they were in NY?

a couple of miles but it takes forever to cross the sound... to answer the poll I would still shop from them, I bought the bike from them so I would continue to use them. Benny have you found their new site. I just got an email from them in it they have google map which shows where it is... I think all the ramp dealerships are on the same street now. if another great sale comes up please post on the site

Ordered 6 things. Charged twice for 3 of them. Had to call 3 times to straighten it out. Waited 5! weeks for first 4 pieces - I only got them after informing them that I am disputing the charges; Now that they shipped my orders they shipped a pillion instead of tank cover. No, I will not do business with them again. I prefer to buy at the local Triumph store - Manayunk Triumph In Phila, PA; great guys, great service.

Capn, the location on their map is where I went, but it was just before they moved in there. Their original dealership is now solely Hummer, and actually isn't on their map, it's a few towns over. Problem was, they had another facility somewhere that they were in at the time of the sale which is NOT on their map

Got my stuff today. It looks great. I already put the chrome battery cover on. I'll wait to install the footboards until the garage is a bit warmer. The wait didn't bother me as there has only been one riding day since I ordered.

Got mine today, but with two missing items and no communication on why. On the plus side, I was only charged for what was shipped.

But now I'll have to explain to my oldest daughter why I bought the other two kids something, but not her. Guess I'll have to get her something during the dealer Open House this weekend (at full price...).

Got mine on Thursday, just as promise, packaging was nice. all of the items arrived in perfect condition and installed most of them on Friday.
Except for the tachometer, chrome valve cover and rocker gear lever shifter.

Any advice on installing the tachometer and valve cover. Is it a good time to adjust the valve train?

any feedback is welcomed

If your bike is a 2003 or later the tach is a simple plug & play installation. The instructions cover it very well. If it is a 2002 you need to use the supplied small wiring harness to replace the stock harness under your tank console, switch out the lights and lenses.

It wouldn't hurt to check the clearances. It doesn't take very long to do. We've read of unusual clearances found at early mileages somewhere around this forum.

Cool, I have a 2004 America, so they installation should be a snap.
Then I should disconnect the battery, remove the chrome bezel that holds the idiot lights and gas cap, install the techo and plug in the harness?

That sounds too easy... But will give it a try.

Thanks guys.

While the manual says to disconnect the battery for everything, probably including checking oil, I certainly didn't. Just remove the console, take out the blank, pop in the tach and tighten the nut, plug in the tach and you're all set. I installed mine in about 5 minutes in the parking lot of Baxter Cycle last Spring with an Allen wrench and a pair of pliers borrowed from the parts guy.

I got back from Bike Week Sunday afternoon and found my order waiting for me. It was received on Wednesday as advertised. The Rochester Mesh Jacket fit perfect, and all the new chrome parts I installed immediately. The price and quality was well worth the wait.

Received my complete order last Wednesday (just returned home). Nice apology note for the delay and coupon code for 20% off additional purchases through the end of the month.

They answered all of my email (3 total) and all phone calls (3 total). I'd shop there again on the next 50% off sale.

I started this mess (on this site at least). What say we put it to rest?

Regards,

Tom

Wondering if you could give me their email. For some reason I can't find it. I need to resolve an double billing issue that I haven't been able to resolve over the phone.
Thanks!!
