Every time I've ordered from them in the past I got my order in less than a week. I placed an order during the "50% sale", and it doesn't bother me that I have not yet heard anything because I believe they are overwhelmed with filling orders. I'll gladly wait, when I can save a couple hundred bucks.

Spoke with Ramp Triumph today. They seem like really nice guys. They tell me they ordered all the merchandise sold during the 50% off sale from Triumph and are expecting the delivery from Triumph to arrive this Wednesday. They expect to have all orders shipped by Friday! Yippee!

I e-mailed them and told them they lost my business because the address on their e-mail was the location they were not IN YET!

Well, they charged my CC on saturday, so I hope to be recieving my stuff soon.

Got my stuff today, just as desribed and in fine order and for the statd price. Little slow on the shipping end, but given the volume they spoke of, I suspect it was within reason. I am happy. Packaged top notch and with great care.

Yup that's ramp. Wish they had THAT address on their E-MAIL to me!!!

If I don't get my stuff today I'm calling them to cancel. I think 3 weeks is sufficient time to ship a pair of solo finishers.

I would give them another week or two. More than likely they had to place a very large order with Triumph and charged all our cards to cover the order. They probably got a little over there heads with this sale and it will take them longer than normal to get everything out. One thing you can do is call your credit card company and tell them about your concern and they can put a note regarding this charge. If you receive the goods as advertised then you are good to go. If not then you can go back to your credit card company, which will have already noted your concern.

Last year I ordered from Big 4 Cycle, the Engine Dresser Bars and Triumph Raptore Perforated Gloves. About 12 days later I received the Gloves and was billed just for the gloves. I never did receive the Engine Dresser Bars. After waiting about a month I was going to call them, but then decided I really didn't need the Dresser Bars. I received conformation that I had ordered the Dresser Bars, but to this day I still have not received them.

I'm still waiting..so who got what so far?

I am in no hurry...just need my stuff before April.

Hey zook looks like a few people have gotten their stuff.No ones said exactly what they ordered.From what Ive seen no one from the Northeast has gotten theirs yet.I'm gonna wait until Sat. Before I e-mail them. Like the man said I can wait until April.

I emailed them yesterday, Feb 22, with no reply so far.

So I called them this morning and they told me that everything that needed to be ordered was going to arrive today and was going to ship out to customers today or Monday. They said that I should receive an email with shipping info, so we'll see.

While I'm in no hurry either, I think they could do a lot better job in the customer notification department. How hard could it have been to send out a global email to everyone that ordered explaining the situation? Then maybe an email or two in the following weeks with some sort of update?

While I'm not writing them off completely, I can't imagine ordering from them again.

At this point in time I'm just hoping the kids t-shirts I ordered still fit my kids when they arrive.

Just an update. Spoke with Megan in customer service. An 18-wheeler arrived today (2/27/07) from Triumph. She says all items from the mass ordering will be shipped Wed-Fri this week and each customer should receive an email with the UPS tracking number. We shall see.

I just called them and they said they just got 2 pallets of parts in from the 50% off sale and they said they are going to be shipping it out in the next few days..just check the emails for tracking..I'm hoping that wasnt a well rehearsed speech..

Yeah, I don't believe them. I called my CC comapny and had them stop the funds.

Yeah, my loss. I don't think a company deserves my business if they operate in that way. I've been in business for 30 years and have stayed succesful because I deliver as promised.

Operate in what way? I remember, in those dark days before the internet, most mail orders took 4-6 weeks to arrive. I'm quite sure this was intended to give them enough of a buffer to order parts that weren't in stock. It didn't always take 4-6 weeks but sometimes it did. There must be very few companies you will do business with.

First of all, my vendors have real time inventory available to me. When I order from Norhtern tool, brent, Neweeg and others, I get my orders within a week.I have over a thousand customers that I do business with. I have internet, fax and phone ordering available to them. Orders placed before 8 PM get to them the next day in most areas. On occasion, an order might take 2-3 days. I inform the customer imediately if this happens. I have no phone menu. If a customer calls with an order or needs a repair, someone always picks up the phone. If theyjust told me the truth in the beginning, I wouldn't care. And anyway, FJ, why are you getting so mad, bud?

I have to admit that this is trying my patience as well. They said two weeks to ship, after three I called and they said all the parts were coming in last Friday, and would ship that day or Monday. I believe over on the RAT forums that people had called a week prior to when I did and got the same story at least a week earlier - and now almost a week later it's the same story again. So, for at least two weeks now they've been telling people that the parts are coming in and will ship in the next day or two.

Again, I wasn't in any hurry to get the stuff when I ordered. I easily accepted the 2 weeks to ship as well and I can easily accept that they had a lot more orders than anticipated and it was going to take longer than stated to ship.

What I can't accept is that they haven't responded to email and haven't kept people notified of the delay. Its now twice as long as they stated it would ship. Plus, they charged my CC on the 10th.

I'll wait impatiently for the items to arrive (just some shirts and a key chain) but can't imagine ordering from them again.

It took over a month for my Thunderbikes to ship. No real-time inventory there. Not a problem, since they were bolt-on's and I left the TOR's on until they arrived. My first two orders from Brent arrived incomplete with a two-week out of stock notice. No real-time inventory there either. Not a problem for the same reasons. I have since ordered from him 3 more times and will continue to do so for bike-unique items.

If sincere, over 600 orders in several hours and the first-hand experienced ice storm would throw a monkey wrench in any well-intended sale. For me it's the winter, the bike was not rideable due weather, everything I ordered was bolt-on "luxuries" (unnecessary to the operation of the bike) and money saved (assuming I ever receive the order) was worth the wait.

I'd order again under the same conditions (50% off and parts in question weren't integral to the operation of the bike), assuming I do in fact eventually receive my order.

I talked to them yesterday as well...after I got my credit card statement with the charge. They told me the same as everyone else - that they had 2 large pallets of material...but they also told me that my order would ship either yesterday or today and that I would get an email with tracking info, etc. Well, it's almost 3pm and I haven't gotten any emails...

I wouldn't mind waiting had they not charged my card (and they did that over 2 weeks ago!).

In the end, I'll be happy when I receive my items knowing that I got a killer deal. However, if this sale was some sort of enticement for me to shop there again - it worked in reverse!!

I tried calling today many times to see what story i'd get..I keep getting a machine...my card hasnt been charged yet..Im starting to get a little anxious and hoping it still goes through

Well got my Cedit card statement today they charged me, so i'm hoping that means they have shipped or plan to soon,
I e-mailed them Monday and as yet no reply.

The last time I ordered from JC Whintney it took 6 weeks, But at least they told me that up front.

Dont think I'll be too likly to order from them again.

Lets say they are telling the truth and the truck just showed up on Tuesday.

First they would have to receive the stuff in, break down and inspect the parts, place them into stock and the order entry system, fill the shelves, then have someone pick over 600 orders re-pack, and re-enter in their order system as filled and then ship them out.

Another week easily.

OK, so I mised out on the 50% deals because I didn't order right away. When I did order, the discount was only 20% - so I backed out. The story then was that the 50% was only for IN STOCK items, but that those items would be shipped in about 2 weeks. So what's this about new truckloads arriving from Triumph? Items that were NOT already in stock being sold at the 50% discount? If so, then why stop the 50% sale earlier than originally anounced?

Just curious.

They chared me the 50% price and I did not place my order until about 2 hrs before they changed prices, So I expect to be among the last to get the stuff.I would have expected to get an out of stock or backordered message if they did not have what I ordered on the shelf at the time.

I'm not mad, I guess I just have low expectations. I refuse to let myself get spoiled by Brent. Few other businesses are as on-the-ball (and even HE has things back-ordered from time to time, yet nobody pitches a fit). As soon as I saw how deep this sale was, I knew they'd be swamped with orders they couldn't possibly fill. Combine that with knowing how little inventory most Triumph dealers keep on hand, I just assumed it would be a long wait. That's part of the price of getting such a great deal.

All that said, my only disappointment was the lack of communication regarding the order. If I didn't have this source of info I probably would've called and got the story myself.

Are you guys all talking about RAMP motorsports? It's literally a half mile from me, what me to go knock some heads?

I just spoke to a parts guy at ramp..this may be old news but
they are shipping out orders as we speak.They are in the middle of moving the service and parts depts..they are operating out of two buildings getting ready form a grand reopening type event..they are processing orders in the building and not even answering the phones there..parts guy said he wasnt sure I would be getting an email but the stuff is going out..

I just got an email that my stuff is shippimg out today and I'll have it next week..light bars..clock..shirts..

I too just received an email, a reply from the one I sent last week, stating that the order is shipping to day. No tracking # though. So, hopefully by the end of next week I'll have it.

EDiT: OMG, I got a tracking# send to me as well shortly after I posted the above message. Guess it's for real now.
