I am pretty sure the clearance on the Triumph watches should be about 0.175mm when measured cold.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

I wonder if the Yamaha shims can be used?

Watch Clearance... I almost hit a bridge once with one on. Good thing it was Pats Neck of the woods where, for some dumb reason, they include snow accumulation when they measure bridge height. (A flat bridge marked 12'8" and you clear it with a 13'8" load of new cars and a heart attack). Who else has been here?

There is a railroad underpass here in town we refer to as "Can Opener Bridge". At least 3 times a year some maroon peels the top off his semi, even after several miles of passing the warning signs that are really big and bright.
