 OTD cost for new/used Speedmaster?

I checked with Life Cycle in Kalamazoo Michigan on a left over 2006 Speedmaster. They quoted me about $9,000 OTD. Thats seems kind of high to me. What have you guys been paying for your SM/ TBA for OTD (out the door) prices? How about used prices?

I'd buy a used one with low miles if I had to do it again. Let someone else pay for the exhaust and chrome goodies. I would think you could pick-up a used Speedmaster between $5 and $6K easy.

They seem to be 7-800 too high. OTD should be about 8200 this late in the year. That is considering the tax, title deal is 3-500 bucks.

I've recently seen a few used america's for around $5K in this area. Here's one for $4500 CL used americaI've also seen a few used thruxton's in the $5 to $6K range.

You are correct. Come to Philly, get a cheesteak and a soft pretzel and go see Buzz at Manayunk Triumph. Even with the 7% sales tax it is less than $9000 for a 2007!

Offer $8K out the door. See what happens. You may have to go up a bit. But do it soon (March 1 is too late, spring is too near) do it in person quietly and not in front of other customers. If Jim says OK after consulting the owner then sign on the dotted line on the spot. Do not then walk out and say you have to think it over. $8K is as low as anyone anywhere can go. Make sure you know how you are going to pay for it and have that arranged in advance as much as possible so it is a clean, fast deal.

MCC in Villa Park ( Chicago suburb ) has a Speedmaster 06, brand new, $1000 off ( so, around $7500 approx ). Call Geoff at 630-782-2010.

Exactly one year ago I bought a brand new 05 speedmaster (this is in Feb 06) for $7400.00 out the door (except for tax).
List price for 06's did not go up that much so you should be able to get the same deal. Don't know what part of Michigan you live in but if you live on the western side, you can get your bike at the same place I did, Shoreline Motorsports Triumph in Kenosha Wis, ask for Ken. Not that far of a drive.
BTW. Brand new 06 speedmaster just sold on Ebay two days ago for $6600. Three brand new 06 Americas went for $5500, $5600 and $6000. All this from a dealer that was going out of business in Ohio.
