Bike recovered

SAULT STE. MARIE - A prison work crew discovered a motorcycle - a vintage 1973 Triumph - while toiling near the southbound off-ramp at the juncture of I-75 and Easterday.

An investigation determined the machine was removed from a nearby shed sometime in the last month. The culprit or culprits did approximately $200 in damage to the bike before abandoning it.

Officials determined that a Harley Davidson motorcycle inside the shed had not been tampered with and appeared to be intact. Access to the shed was apparently gained by removing some loose boards.

There are no suspects in this matter.

Yep Rev. I saw this same report last night on Fox "News".(I "slum" sometimes TOO, ya know)

Seems the Michigan crime investigators have surmised that the thieves must have felt that getting the Harley off the trailer that it was sitting on in that shed was just too much work, and so they decided to steal the Triumph instead.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Don't worry Tom. If the Harley HAD been a Panhead, I'D have stolen it myself!(ain't too many things cooler in the world than a Panhead Harley, ya know)

But, seeing as how that trailered Harley inside that shed was most likely one of those ubiquitious newer Evo or Twin-Cam numbers....WHY would anybody BOTHER, Huh?!

Cheers,
Dwight

Maybe the Harley wouldn't start and they had to take the "73" Triumph. LMAO
