Holy crap, I cannot believe them. Absolutely no traffic control or patterns. Yet they all survive. Gotta give them credit for that.

Maybe that's the key-they know there is no control so they don't expect other people to stop, go or signal and they all look out for themselves.
I sent this to a friend who had been to Saigon and he recognized the street and said it is like this 24 hours a day.

Looks a lot like traffic in bangkok, cept the thai roads aren't that wide and I didn't see any bikes with 3 girls on, all (other than the front one) riding side-saddle.
