Most of you remember the metric biker build-off that happened in Vegas with a few Triumph bikes used. Well metrictv.com sold the show and it'll be on ESPN 2. From their newsletter: ---------------------- The much anticipated Metric Revolution Motorcycle Build Off has found a home. The series will begin airing in the 2nd quarter of 2007 on ESPN2. March 31st at 11am EST will be the premier episode with an encore presentation each following Tuesday at 6pm EST. A detailed schedule will be available soon outlining each episode with builder appearances for each show. Stay tuned to MetricTV.com as more information becomes available. ----------------------------- I saw a rundown of the episodes and times on a chopper board, but my bookmark for it isn't working anymore. ESPN 2 is planning a block of car and motorcycle related programming they're calling "ESPN 2 Garage" that looks a lot like Speed TV. I just hope they have more than the usual chopper and stunter shows that Speed TV has gone too.
I'd like to see something different, like adventure type riding/touring travelogues, or more racing. And throw in a vintage show or 2 that isn't a Corbin infomercial.

You mean you don't have a TIVO or something similar? Unless it's a live sports event I want to watch, I always record shows so I can fast forward through the commercials or just so I can watch them whenever I want.

Cool - thanks for the info man. Sounds like it should be good. I never saw the metric biker build-off that happened in Vegas. One of my Christmas gifts the misses got me on sale for a couple of bucks was a book called Techno Chop - yes I know sounds awful doesn't it; but it's actually pretty cool and has a bunch of Triumph chops and history - popularity of the vertical twin in choppers and all that. Hopefully ESPN will do a good job.

I am sure ESP'NBA' will find a way to take motorcycle customizing to the level of professional wrestling. Speaking of: Tractor Pulls serve a significant social purpose. They prove that for some people, the rules of professional wrestling got a little too complicated.
