Not too many places where you'd want to use anti-seize on the bike, I'd think. One place would be, like you said, the sliding pins on the brake calipers, and the back of the brake pads. Only other place I can think of would maybe be the wheel axles, but you could also just use regular bearing grease for those as well.

That's can be a tough question - where to balance loosening of fasteners due to vibration vs. preventing anti-seize / corrosion.

I wonder if the lowest strength Loctite offers any corrosion protection? Perhaps that would offer the best of both worlds?

About the only place you'd use copper based grease is on brake components. It's used there because if it gets on the disks it won't ruin your disk pads. Anywhere else that needs grease you'd use cheaper axle/bearing greases.

I use(copper coat)on the bolts(nuts) that hold the header pipes in, as these tend to rust over time

As Ray indicated, many of the fastener anti-seize lubricants have copper additives. Threads is where they work best. Don't use that stuff as a lubricant on bearing surfaces.

I use it on non-critical bolts, especially where they screw into aluminum. Like the side covers. I also use it on the exhaust studs.
On the brake pins and backs of the pads I use hi-temp brake grease.
In both cases, a little goes a long way. Sparingly is a good thing.

Never use loctite on steel bolts going into aluminum threads.... bad move.

And if you don't, why would you ever take them out again?

Yeah (the plugs).

>And if you don't, why would you ever take them out again?

I actually did change the AI plugs.
From (ugly) bolts to the Jenks plugs from Belacorse.
