I guess Zook can continue to run around and pretend to be the reason it happened.

Personally, I'm not a fan of either team, but FL just plain took it to them. Ohio State's offensive tackles looked like they were wearing lead boots.

I love it it too, Phil. So here's my hearty "CHOMP!!!" to all those who love the Crocogators. This game did remind me of the '93 Sugar Bowl when everyone laughed at Alabama even being there. Lee Corso said, "Alabama shouldn't even be playing in Florida's State High School Championship game. This one will get ugly". Of course the Hurricane players were shootin' off at the mouth as usual. Then the Crimson Tide quietly and methodically ended Gino Torretta's career by beating Miami 34-13. Tonight, no one gave Florida a chance and they performed as SEC teams usually do. I can't wait to hear the excuses and listen to the ESPN talking heads start crawfishing. After Bama beat the Buckeyes in 1977 Sugar Bowl, Woody Hays said, "Our boys just aren't use to playing in s second rate bowl". LOL!!! Some folks never learn.

The Gators were flying last night. The Ohio players looked like deer in the headlights.

I read where somebody said the SEC Championship game should be considered the National Championship. Food for thought after this game. The SEC teams beat each other up so bad that they rarely have the perfect record to compare to some other teams.

Even though I live in Ohio and could only stomach the 1st half of the game....I have to admit i've never seen such an unexpected butt whoopin. It was actually enjoyable to watch Florida play. Especially after Ohio scored on the 1st play, Florida had to be down...but they prevailed.
It was like a High School Varsity football team scrimmaging the Freshman!!

Being a lifelong, diehard, card carrying alumnus of The Florida State University as well as a former 30+ year resident of Tallahassee Florida... there can't be anyone on this site that regrets what I'm about to say as much as I am. Florida beat the everloving CRAP out of Ohio. Way to go UF! Now excuse me... I have to go wash my mouth out.

Being that I live in Gainesville, it broke my heart when I had to fly out of the country on the day of the game and would most likely miss most, if not all of it.. I was hoping UF would win, but I didn't have any great hopes given all the press and predictions up to game time. Upon arriving in Nicaragua, we promptly hit the closest (TGI) Friday's in Managua and every set was turned to the game. We were lucky enough to get there about mid-way through the thrid quarter and the place was going crazy, for good reason as it turns out! Anyway, after the game I called my wife and she told me that the town had gone nuts.. The police had to shut down university avenue, people were out climbing trees and light poles, getting on top of buildings, etc.. just short of a full out riot in the streets downtown. Gotta love these college towns! Congrats to them.. they deserve it.. and to top it off, UF is now the first college in history to have two national championships in the same year (Football and Mens Basketball). It's been a good year for sure. Cheers, Brad

Being a die-hard Texas Aggie (boot wearing , saber carrying) SWC (Big XII) kind of guy... my opinions are biased ,,, BUT even though I hate the SEC only because Arkansas left the SWC... I was thrilled that Florida beat Ohio State...It was irratating to hear the "big sports media" just write off Florida. ra-ra sec!..Go Big XII

51 Days off. Say that again... 51 Days off! Then your supposed to play the "college game of your life"? BCS is all jacked up. Not to say My Bucs didn't get their ... kicked, but c'mon, what kind of ranking system is BCS anyways? It's like "you might be a redneck"; way old and worn out. I had hope a few years ago when it was proven wrong, but hey who can argue with Vegas right.
