just got a puncture!- quick question- if the innertube is ok, except the nail hole, can you patch it like you might a bicycle tyre/tire or is it bad practice?

No problem. I would recommend a new tube though, but you could patch it. For the few pesos, a new tube is far safer than a patched toob.

trying to find a new inner is proving difficult!- the triumph shop does not have one- im phoning around tomorrow though in the hope. can I confirm its a 170/80/b15 15" diameter

The fastest I found one was at the local Yamaha shop. Any Jap shop should have one (they all have cruisers). One with the angled valve stem might make servicing a bit easier, but probably isn't necessary.

I have a straight valve on my latest tube. Trust me, get the angled one.

I also have the straight valve. I had to buy a new pressure gauge to get at it! Definitely get the angled valve, and make sure it points in the right direction.

Just a question,
Are these tubes really odd ball, Would they be fairly easy for a repair shop to find (if sitting on the side of the road)?
