reminds me of a home movie on men and motors (UK) where 4 friends took their Harleys across Europe from UK to a Hog bash in Spain. It turned into an endurance run- based on getting bikes fixed, finding parts that had dropped off etc...never the less- still really good fun to watch as they met up with their wives in Barcelona who had flown, not on broom sticks, but planes!

Looks like the the ultimate RUBS movie. I was wondering when someone would make a movie like this. It looks like it has the potential for some good laughs.

I think it looks so funny! But I like stupid Humour movies ie: Austin Powers, Talladaga Nights, Night at the Roxbury, etc. My hubby thought it looked goofy. I emailed the link to the ladies that are taking the MSF class with me (16 days now!) and told them when we PASS the class we all need to go see this movie together to celebrate! ~*~ Painted Lady

Could not be any worse than the new Rocky (Balboa) movie.
What a dreadful film.

WHAT XHD???!!!

Are you saying that MAYBE there's too many guys buying into that H-D "mystique" thing nowdays???

Bite your tongue, there dude!!!

Why I'll have you know that the VAST MAJORITY of these fine gentlemen probably did a major league searched on the ol' Internet before buying that FIRST BIKE o' their's!!!

(o' course, they probably NEVER Googled anything BUT the name Harley-Davidson on their little computers)

Cheers,
Dwight

Last summer a young woman asked me "So what kind of Harley is that?" At first I tried to explain what a Triumph was but soon noticed the blank look of incomprehension on her face. I then told her it was made in China, she then nodded and walked away satisfied. I must admit, she looked really good in those leather chaps.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

This movie may do more to damage the Harely mystique than all the Harley bashing posts on all the forums on the www. This movie could have a negative impact if folks start to associate Harley's with weekend warriors that don't have a clue.

Well Larry, I DO have to admit that A LOT of the "Trophy Wives" riding on the back of Dr.Jones' Harley(the dentist who always wanted that Harley, and finally got it) DO look kind'a GOOD in their little leather outfits, don't they???!!!

(especially in those low cut numbers that accentuate the new boobs that Dr.Jones got 'em for Christmas)

Quick Story about the Ghost Rider Movie.
A friend of mine works at Mattel toys. Anyway, they developed the GhostRider toy to coincide with the film's release.. it's the Flaming Skull guy riding a flaming chopper of skulls...(with a rip cord to make it go)
So, now NONE of the stores will carry the toy because it's determined to be satanic.
He gave a prototype... it's pretty creepy.

Yeah Newt, Travolta is definitely the high buck mega movie star of the bunch. I can't wait to see it. I love slapstick silly mindless humor. Throw in the bikes and it makes it that much better. I still think Harley should have worked with the filmmakers on this instead of fighting it in court. They could have milked a bunch of free advertisement out of the deal.

Well here's the problem: John Travolta and William H. Macy - always worth a watch. But Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence? Those two have been "chevvied" for some time - Allen since "Galaxy Quest" and Lawrence since... well... he never was funny. If only they'd tossed Ben Stiller into the mix, then I really would have been definite about staying away.

That, of course, is IMHO...

FIRST, Siggy ol' boy, YOU were just usin' this thread to get that word you recently coined, "chevvied", a better chance chance of "catchin' on", we're ya?!(ya know, having the gentlemen at Webster's validate a word IS a long and laborious task, ya know?!...AND you can probably kiss ANY CHANCE for those dudes over in Oxford to take this word o' yours seriously)

SECONDLY, the ONLY reason to MAYBE see this movie IS THAT Marisa Tomei AND Jill Hennessey appear to be in it.

Cheers,
Dwight

No! But I've seen "A Night At The Opera"(with the Marx Bros.) a ZILLION TIMES! Does THAT COUNT, Phil?

(and...I agree with Siggy....Ben Stiller is overrated too....can't wait for him to be "chevvied")

COOL! Now THAT I want to see!!!

(a hell of a lot more more than THIS movie with a bunch o' stupid Harleys in it)
