Posted three new pics of my fender bob and new tail lights install. If you're curious, I used vehicle door edge protector that you can get at Auto Zone to dress up the edges of the fender which gives the edges that bezeled look. Been on only one ride since and already getting positive comments from the Harley crowd in town. Must suck to realize you bought the wrong type of bike for twice the money...

Looks good man, nice job with the trim. Was that stuff actually flexible enough to make it around all the curves or did you have to do it sections and miter the cuts?

nice job, very neat.....BUT, you need to lower the ****** now. then it will look (as my son says) killa, sik, flush etc.

Had to do it in sections...just took a little patience. I left myself a little extra on each piece so once it was on I could trim it with a hobby knife to the right angle and fit.

I thought about lowering, but I drive too aggressive and can't afford new foot pegs every month after I grind them down. Had a guy stop me the other day after a tight corner cause he thought my bike was on fire or something from sparks coming off the pegs.

Last time I checked EBAY (coupla days ago) there was an America / Speedmaster rear fender up for bid, seemed to be a reasonable price, if somebody would like to have a spare fender to experiment on.

Nice job, the finished product has definite character and style. As to lowering, our custom is lowered 2"+ in back and almost 2" up front. Looks great, but I too prefer the standard ride height for general riding. I scrape the side stand or exhaust every time I take the custom out.

I couldn't remember where I'd seen it, but now that I've checked your pics out again, your bobbed fender was where I got the idea for the cuts on mine cause it looks awesome. Where'd you get your side tag bracket? Is it custom or bolt on?

Nice work. I love the edging, gives it that extra something.

Thanks for the kind words on our bobbed/custom rear fender. We did the front in a similar style although not many have noticed. The tag bracket is a little something we made here in the shop. Works in conjunction with our lowering bracket set.
