I asked Brent if he had anything in the works. The concern seems to be worries of possible failures and bikes falling onto their sides. Maybe we can sign a disclaimer with the purchase of cool looking side stands to replace the stock ones. Has anyone fabricated or located custom stands yet? I hate to even ask, but will Harley after market stands fit onto our BAs? Help us Brent.

Unfortunately, the liability of something like that in a litigious society scares off manufacturers (this manufacturer anyway).....
Just FYI - Keep your eyes peeled for a center stand, FINALLY!!!, for these bikes during Q2 of 07.

I bought the Rivco chrome side stand foot from Brent and it works great. My bike tends to lean over more than most cruisers, ie. HD. Even though the bike is 200-300 pounds lighter (than the HDs), it puts MORE weight on the side stand because it leans over more. I constantly had problem sinking into asphalt when my friends bikes were fine. The round like foot is a big help, screws on with a set screw, and is no problem folding up.

You are an evil man Mr. Brent. I guess no birthday presents for the kids again in '07.

I have visions of a suburban street on garbage day with bike lifts kicked to the curb in every other driveway!

Last year at a bike show in Ocean City Maryland, I saw a bike that had a side stand that looked like a dragon's foot/claw. I'm usually not into stuff like that (even though it adds probably at least 10 HP), but I liked it.

I've seen a side stand foot/claw recently. I think it was supposed to be an eagle's talon - looked pretty cool.
