It looks like they've nailed the most dangerous 'slow' roads.
I've got a nomination for most dangerous 'fast' road-
The Capitol Beltway in DC. Bumpy as hell, cars coming at you from 8 directions at once (front l/r/center, both sides, rear l/r/center) and no telling how many of them have diplomatic immunity. I found going faster than everyone else cut it down to just front l/r/c. Only rode it once. Scared the #@%$ out of me.

I think I've been on the Taroko Gorge Road in Taiwan many, many moons ago. My family lived in Taiwan when I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure there are photos of us on that road. I don't remember a thing about it, other than the photos.

Particuarly the climbing trail in China, where you hang on to the side of the mountain with embedded chains and walk on planks hammered into the mountainside. Yikes!
I was sure Route 15 in PA/MD would show up, but it turns out not to be that dangerous in comparison!

I wouldn't worry too much about those Capitol Beltway drivers there Brian. From everything I read about that place, those people all operate like a "well-oiled machine" in unison and without many serious roadblocks ever being created to the betterment of all Americans.
But I DO hear that those trucks carrying all those pork barrels around there can be mighty dangerous if you happen to get caught in their way.
Cheers, Dwight

I'll let you know about the beltway drivers.
I'm headed south this Thur.
I95 is such a fun road to drive , and yes I know the belt way is 495.
Had Xmas dinner with the new inlaws, they have a place in Key Largo. When I said I would like to ride Rt1 to Key West
they said it was one of the most dangerous roads on Florida. Who knew!

US1 to Key West is a safe road. Don't worry about it. I do recommend getting past Miami before all the loco people get out of bed. There is a nice spot just past Islamorada called Tea Table Relief (MM78) that is a great place to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Have a nice trip.
