I just thought I'd show you the cool framed poster that Addie, my GF, gave me for Christmas. She and her daughter picked it out for me on our last trip through Laramie. This is my favoritest gift that I got this year.

The painted scene is an exact likeness of the road over Red Rim between Lander and South Pass. I've been over this pass plenty of times when I was working the oil patch, but never on a motorcycle. It would be a great ride.

I guess I'll always be a Wyoming boy at heart.

Hope everyone is having a great Christmas day.
Cody

You are a lucky man, Cody, to have a GF that would give you such a fine gift. I have not made to to Wyoming yet, but sure will in the future. Would that not be a great ride?

really nice. I've been looking for some poster art for my mud room walls. That would fit in nicely!

That is so cool. I love how they combined old with the new. The Wyoming tourist bureau has there website at the bottom.

You are absolutely right, Dave. I am lucky to have such a great lady. She encourages me to just be the person I am. She has never tried to change me, and I don't think she ever will. She's very different from all the women I've known in the past. It took me a while to get used to that fact. She doesn't ride, because it scares her, but she encourages my motorcycle passion because she knows that it's part of me.

You are also right about Wyoming. It would be a great ride. I encourage you to do it, and if you do, I could give you some good road suggestions.
