This K&N Fuel filter is perfect and allows you to get rid of the "hidden filter".
It's 5/16" barbs and easily fits between the petcock and top of carbs.
It's clear and you can easily see if you got into some junk fuel.
And only $6.38 direct from K&N.

I've got the clear fuel line. Turned "golden", with or without the fuel in it.
Next change might be to braided black....the clear is not very attractive at this stage, to me. Of course black rubber does not really do it for me either.
Nice filter, though.

There's this tubing...it's already "golden".
I picked some up for removing the tank for carb synching. It's a pretty good company.
