Put some Mothers on my polished forks today, they are holding up real well.
I was eyeballing the black, foot-control bar. I know a chrome bar is available, but for my tastes that looks a little too bright. I wonder what material the bar is made of? Does anyone think it would polish up after stripping the black paint?

Al,
If you are talking about that bar assembly at the base of the down tubes that the foot controls are attached' my best assessment is they are some grade of carbon steel (ferrous) and not a likely candidate for polishing.

How 'bout powder coat? They have some cool shades of "bright".
