When you eliminate the airbox and put pod filters on the carbs, the volume/throat of De-baffeld stock pipes is wicked Twice as loud. Twice as deep. Soooooo, in other words, be ready for your "sound" to change if you eliminate the airbox.
Yep, I noticed that with the Thunderbikes too. I was running 130's with a drilled box and drilled K&N. Put on the pods with 155's. Really enjoying those Tbikes now.
