If it looked like a Vincent motor, instead of a Harley Clone. Maybe< that looks like a Harley Disguised as a Triumph. That sucks!!!!!!

you just had to do that to a grey one didnt you.
The percentage you're paying is too high-priced

And the man in the suit has just bought a new car

I am glad to have a Black and Silver. The Grey looks better with that motor. But then the Grey BA is my second choice, just not with a V-Twin.

Yes, I believe that picture would satisfy the Supreme Court's definition of "obscene", which would be unprotected under the 1st Amendment free speech clause.
Besides, you might give those clowns at OCC an idea, and we can't have that.

Geez, I never thought I'd agree with something Dwight came up with, but in this case I must thank him for petitioning the moderators to put a stop to this evil "joke."

Ok folks just to get you going again, was reading a MCN (bike mag over here) and what did i find...... a very grainy shot (taken a kilometer away) of a bike going around Triumph test track, article said they have lopped a cylinder off the rocket engine and rotated it 90%, water cooled, you can just make out radiator on photo, due for release late in 2007. i have tried to find picture on their web site, i am sure someone like Ade may find it. i will 'borrow' mag tomorrow and give more detailed write up.
here's hoping.....
Paul.

The perks of lurking in many forums...... Ok it's not off the website...but beats switching my scanner on! I read the article and it doesn't really say anything we didn't already know. But beats the pics we got last year of an America with extra bits on....
Gina
03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel...
06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel...
09 America - It's very blue....

It's encouraging to see the angled header pipes that give it that "classic Triumph" twin cylinder look. A 1500cc+ twin with a Triumph classic look would probably be irresistable for me. I plan to stop adding money to my bike till I know more.

Well, gotta say I probably WOULDN'T be interested in it IF it has one o' those BIG UGLY THINGS attached in front of the engine that keeps it running without overheating. YEAH! Like that BIG UGLY THING attached to the front of that RocketIII shown ABOVE on the picture BELOW.(shoot...now even I'M confused) What the hell do they call those BIG UGLY THINGS things again? Oh yeah....RADIATORS!!! (well...that's at least what us 'mericans call 'em, anyway....what and why y'all Limeys over thare call certain things what y'all do I can't fig'r out too well sometimes, ya know) Cheers, Dwight (but, hope springs eternal....maybe those dudes can find a place to hide it, OR maybe at least can keep the size of that BIG UGLY THING from being too obtrusive...time will tell I guess)

That's pretty cool, Ed. But a V-twin is a V-twin, even if it's the british kind, Dude! This reminds me of the "Norvin" cafe racer that shows up at some of the britbike rides here in SoCal sometimes. It is BEAUTIFUL. And just as you've photoshoped this BA with this Black Shadow engine in it, whenever I scan that Norvin at these rides, it's always amazing to me how the dude was able to stuff that big V-Twin motor in his Featherbed frame. I swear there's not 3mm of space to be found anywhere between the frame and motor on that bike.

Sorry, Dwight, just honoring the lad's request. Tritons, Norvins, they're both pretty hip hybrids. Seems like that Featherbed frame was the deal way back when...

That engine's in a nice Rapide touring frame in Iowa at Baxter Cycles . Yep, I want it but I'm afraid to ask since it says "Call For Price" on the web site and that means it's out of my league.
