Mullberry to be precise. I just picked up a 06 TBA at Ramp Motorcycles in Port Jeff, NY. They pulled the AI, put on knee pads and installed a tach. I had a great ride home, a $h!t eatin grin for the whole ride.
I don't think I will be able to finish breaking in the bike before the weather getts too cold and the sand starts piling up on the roads. My wrist is still a little sore Its was acting up after an hour on the bike...
Well I'm excited to be a part of the club
cheers- capn

Welcome to the CT chapter of BA.com. I now think CT has more members then any other state.

When decent weather and December coincides in "snow country", the only reasonable alternative is to make those wheels spin. Don't take my word for it, ask any unbiased member of this board

Sounds like you have an understanding dealer. Enjoy! ride safe

Congratulations from the Sunshine State! You made the best color choice. Actually, when I bought mine, it was sitting outside the bike shop, first one I saw, I had to have it. Wasn't even aware of any other colors.

Yep, capn! It DOES appear that you're approaching "crunch time" there in CT, if you're gonna break that puppy in soon.

GET IT???!!! Capn...CRUNCH!!!

(Okay, okay, guys! So they can't ALL be "GEMS", ya know!)

BUT, come to think of it, I AM starting to wonder what's in the Constitution State's water supply that's responsible for all this GOOD TASTE you dudes seem to have back there!!!

Cheers, and welcome aboard capn,
Dwight
(BTW, DON'T bother to ask!...Many of the other members around here have been scratchin' their heads FOR YEARS tryin' to figure out what may be in the water out here in California that causes Your's Truly to be "this way"...they just chalk it up to bein' out in the SUN too long, I think)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Capn(Justin)and I took our first ride together this afternoon.
We got a late start, but rode a little over 50 miles of nice
backroads before dark.

Hopefully more to come if the weather holds.

Hey capn I wish I knew you were picking it up! I live in Port Jeff Station now. Just down the road. Haven't been to their new place in PJ yet.

Come spring, I'll have to join you guys for a ride.

It was a hell of a nice ride, especially for mid-december. I got a little chilled at the end of the ride, should have had a couple more layers and my full-face helmet.
Uncle Charlie has a sweet ride, he had a lot of mods and chrome that I would like to add to my ride.
As for a ct meet, maybe a ride towards marcus dairy? ive never been there but i hear it is hell of a gathering. The further north you get away from 95 the better the roads get.
I'm hoping this weekend will be nice and i can get some miles in this weekend, anybody interested?
cheers capn

My fingers and toes were getting a little cold towards the
end. I was underdressed, only one pair of socks, and non-
insulated gloves, no long johns either. Also, my Jettvest
battery powered heated vest didn't do me any good in my
saddlebags. But, it was a great little ride anyways. I love
the roads in Westchester County,NY.

If you want to ride to Marcus on Sat, I'm in, maybe Mike can
join us. If you want to do more miles, there's a cool place
called Toymakers Cafe in Fall's Village, up rt7. Do a search
for more info.

It's supposed to rain on Thurs, but Fri looks good, let me
know if you want to ride.

We have to take advantage of this decent weather, while it's
still here. I'll post in the rides section to see if we can
get any interest for a CT ride on Sat, or Sun.

Thanks for the compliments on my bike,
Uncle Charlie

I worked at Vermont Yankee Nuclear back in '85 and the whole 7 months I was there, I wished I had my bike there.
Super roads, but the frost heaves were really bad that Spring.
