D&D pipes are pretty good looking, much like double D's which I sample at other times. I think they sound great but I was wondering what they are like when re-packed (refering to D&D's not DD's).
So has anyone re-packed their D&D's and could you let me know what is the difference in sound / performance?

I repacked mine with the premium stuff from Vance & Hines. No change in performance, but the high pitched ringing sound I had above 4500 rpm was gone. I used one sheet for each pipe. Total cost, about $15 bucks.
FYI: make sure you get the screw holes lined up on the billet end caps when installing them, they're tough to rotate after you push them all the way in.

Do you have a link to the re-packing stuff from Vance & Hines? I can't seem to find it on thier web site.

I got some from a Harley shop, most shops should keep exhaust packing in stock.

Silent sport seems to have a good reputation for damping & longevity. You can google it. One thing to watch out for, though - I've heard if you overpack (too much packing), the damping is defeated & they just get louder.
Said Molly to James, that's a fine motorbike.
