I prefer "this one" as well.

I like them all, but only one has the letters in BLACK.
The Heritage works for me, though I considered the others for a time. Caught the sun shining off my tank and Heritage badge from a distance one day, and it must have come off just right. I have not considered changing badges since.
I'm always looking at other bikes, as we all do, and after first trying to determine that yep, it's a V-Twin, the next objective is to determine whether or not it's a domestic make, or a Japanese imitator. It is not easy trying to read tank badges on the move, or at a distance!
As much as I appreciate the vintage Triumph company, I see no reason to take away from the present. May they one day want to use our Heritage badges on their new Triumphs of tomorrow!

I like the first badge the best, looks more true to the classic eyebrow badges, BUT it does not look right with the paint. Looks like one or the other was an afterthought. Second badge looks much better on the tank.

I agree, but I have the larger ones on my bike

Did you switch out the tank badge yet? What kind of tool did you need for the 2 screws. They are not allen wrenchs and do not seem to be torx bits either.
Thanks, Alan

I hate to sound like a pimp for Harbor Freight, but I saw them there for a fraction of what I paid at Sears.

Agreed. As many times as you will possibly use them, the cheaper the better.

From our very own Tech Vault..... Quote:
Pretty sure it's T25... OK yeah it's T25. Just checked. $3.99 at the local Ace hardware for the safety Torx driver (blue handle).
(taken from a Lounge post by Bennybmn)
Keep in mind it's an "anti-tamper" torx. The bolt has a small "pin" in the centre, so the torx key needs a matching hole in its' centre.
