Hi all, does anyone out there have the Staintunes fitted to there TBA OR Speedmaster, if you have could you let me know how they sound, look and perform.
I could only find one review for these pipes, and would like to know more.

hi I have the staintunes on my 2005 speedmaster. I am very happy with them good quality as I expected as i have used them on various bikes. As for the sound I am happy with them i have taken the litle baffles out 5 min job and they soung good. They bark if you open her up. Had quite a few comments even from harley riders.

Thanks Muzza, hope you are enjoying your trumpy. With your speedmaster have you had any probs with clonky gear changes?.

I put a pair of Staintunes on my '04 TBA & LOVE'um. Like Muzza, I was familiar with them from other models & had been previously impressed with their quality. No disappointments!! Ditto on the baffles. It didn't seem make them much louder... only a little deeper (maybe?).

I've installed Staintune Slashcuts after having Bub megaphones for over a year and they are quite simply better pipes. They are the best of both worlds with the removable baffles. And the craftmanship is second to none. Absolutely peerless!

Hey Muzza, got Staintunes as well, this 5 minute job on removing the small baffle involves ????? the screw at the back end and what else?

They're all deaf from removing their baffles!

Nico.....NICO.... NNNNIIIICCCOOOO!!!! Man, you could hear a pin drop on this post. Anyhow, the one bolt is the only thing holding the baffle in. You can access it from a small hole in the back of the pipe towards the slash cut end and then just pull the baffle out.. quick and easy.... hope this helps and thanks for your patience.... ride safe... Thanx for that Gordon, have tried but didn't want to pull on the baffle too hard unless there was something I was missing. Can go at it with confidence now.....

Just removed the Staintune baffles on My 07 America.
Deeper, slightly louder note.
Was technically a five minute job but spun them around so I could access the holes better and just spent the whole day and a tube of Autosol on a polishing up the Staintune and then attacked the rest of the bike.

So yeah, a five min job plus OCD.

The Staintunes are great. I run mine with the baffles out most of the time too. Welcome to the forum mate.

Shows how long lasting Staintunes are. Never need repacking.

Been a while since I've been going through the forum and saw this thread. Just wanted to say how great I reckon the staintunes are.

I bought my bike with tors and whilst they were good for starters, I wanted better breathing. I then bought the Specialty Spares and whilst they breathed alright, they were just a little loud for my liking.

When I read about how the Staintunes having removable baffles, didn't need repacking (now that is a pain and the pipes get progressively louder too, until you repack and then there was the fact they were legally compliant sound wise (with baffles in), I knew I had to have them.

The bonus was the quality though. As has been mentioned, there simply is no peer.

All this and I find out they're made 100 miles from my home.

I'm now considering replacing the Arrow Slip on with Staintunes for my Triumph Tiger 1200cc Explorer. The Tone is a lot better, quality we've discussed but they're lighter as well.

Pretty disappointed with the Arrows and that's saying something. Cost a pretty penny whilst the Staintunes are cheap yet higher quality.

Anyway, that's my take on them. Worth every cent imho.
