 Need more snorkel info

I only thought there was one snorkel, then I read there is a upper and a lower? I pulled one out of the top of the air box....... is there another?

My O5 only had the snorkel in the filter. I hear the older bikes also had rubber tubes or snorkels in the air box running to eack carb inlet.
