I just got my ai removed and put some scepters in. I had a popping problem but thats all gone and now i'm all good. But i think these pipes are a bit too loud. I think i'm alot louder than my friends harleys. I dont mind the volume too much but at mid throttle it sorta screams a little too much. I think it might mess up my hearing. So i ordered some vance and hines muffler repacker stuff and i'm gonna take the baffle out and try to wrap some of this stuff on it. HOpe it works out!

Team Triumph of WI created some slip in baffle for our Sceptres. They have the 1.5 or 1 inch options. I have the 1 inch and they are pretty quiet. The 1.5 size might be the way to go.
Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

yeah, that was me. here in Korea! Oh yeah your site is the bomb site for our bike. I did all the work myself and if i didn't have your site i would be lost. I took my bike to a bike shop and they stripped all my carb screws and messed things up so i decided to do the work myself after looking at my site. I got some nice speciality tools for the job and i will be sure to take some pics of my speciality screwdrivers etc. Oh yeah and thanks again Dinqua!

Hey Dude, F the neighbors. Buy some ear plugs instead, you really need them anyway. The wind will cause permanent damage over time. Mike

Ear plugs make a big diff with the wind sounds...and the pipes will get quieter with time...or maybe you just get used to them AND THINK they need to be louder ...but trust me Scepters ARE loud...get the ear plugs....and give it time to get used to the "aquarium head" that too becomes less pronounced

Sceptres too loud ? No way !!! They are PURRRRR-FECT !!!! Good golly, why would you want them quieter?
I wear earplugs, first for the wind, but it also does take the sharpness out of the pipes sound. Yet, it still allows you to have all the fun draggin it out.

I'm 1/2 of a baffle away from straigh pipes (no reducer either). Living in the 'hood such as I do and taking the occasional ride through the ghetto, my personal best is 3 alarms in one afternoon. Sweet!
