I assume that lane is for bus traffic only and the busses have some sort of radio signal that lowers the posts. I hope the signage is clear, i.e. "busses only", because it looks like accidents would happen often with people following a bus.

Signs are usually clear.
I wonder why someone would think they can use the lane (good signage or not) if there is a bollard there!!??
Bollard = don't go there!!
Retractable bollard = if it's there, you still can't go!!
How clearer do these morons need it??
