Not sure if this is the right section to post it in, so apologise to the 'mods' before hand, but a number of board members have been asking about this facility.

the Official Hinckley United Online Merchandise website can be found at the below URL:

http://shop.hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk/

I've double checked everything on the site I can think of but if you do get any problems using the site please email me at info@hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk. Any questions you have about Merchandise you can email the club shop manager at clubshop@hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk

cheers all, oh and by the way Hinckley United went top of our league yesterday

Dave, by the way, have you offered your gear over at the Triumph RAT site? You would likely get a positive response and hearty welcome there as well.

Just ordered an away shirt now I just have to sit around and wait till it gets here. I hope the team benefits from the sales of these shirts and merchandise.

Now the Triumph plant in Hinckley employs roughly 3000 people and I know loads of lads that work there, but myself, well I'm not really a 'bikes' person. Though everybody knows what a great name, reputation and history Triumph has. I have to admit here I do not know what the Triumph RAT is (riders association at a guess?) or where the site is? I would appreciate it if you could maybe post it on their site or direct them to this thread so that they know about it. cheers

yep, actually the team does. there is a wage cap in force at level 5 and 6 of the English leagues. these are the top two tiers of the non professional leagues, though plenty of teams in level 5 have gone professional to compete with professional clubs being relegated from level 4. Anyway, I'm rambling, in short there is a wage cap limiting teams to a wage budget of 60% of annual income. Income is derived from all forms of money making for the club, not just gate receipts, so every penny into the club counts.

I trust anyone who has used the site has not had any problems yet, all feedback good or bad is welcome. Honestly, if it's bad it needs changing so I'd like to know if you do have problems.

Dave, the link to TriumphRAT.net is HERE
It's well-populated with enthusiastic Triumph riders, many in the UK.
Hope you sell a bunch!

Dave, thanks for setting up the online ordering ordering site.

If I might make a suggestion...it's probably a good idea to clear any posts on triumphrat.net with the webmaster there before putting them up. The only contact I can find is support@triumphrat.net

Advertising the Hinckley store there could be construed as spam by some people. Unlike this site, trat.net has many paid advertisers which this site is relatively free from.

I supposed it's a difference i cultures, or maybe just what $$$ the team can spend...
But... they dont' show any T-shirts!
or even button front or Henley shirts....
I'd love to buy a shirt, but I know the sleeves on the pullovers and jackets would comde down to about my knees... (
Ladies arms aren't as long as guys...
Maybe someone that orders one can tell me how they fit on their wife or gf....
thanks
Mary

THEY'RE HERE! THEY'RE HERE! THEY'RE HERE! THEY'RE HERE! THEY'RE HERE!

Very nicely made, colorful, with an embroidered Hinckley crest. Very, very fast delivery. I think it was shipped on the 9th from Hinckley and arrived here today on the 14th via the mail.

For my fellow well-fed Yanks, be advised these shirts are made somewhat form-fitting, as soccer players are of athletic build. If you have waist size issues (like me!) you may want to order a size larger than you usually do. Or join me in some sit-ups.

Thanks again Dave and the Hinckley Triumph team!

Ade -

Dawwwg, you've done me proud, thanks very much for posting that. Comfy and warm, too (the shirt, not you). Thinking about letting my wife try it on, if she's good (wink-wink, nudge-nudge).

To Speedmaster05 - That patch can be ordered through B&R Cycles, listed as a Triumph Silver Wing - 11" for $20.

Say hello to Bob and Rena, brcycles@charter.net or call at (920) 233-6773. Patchboys may have something similar.

Here's a stupid question:
Is it OK to dry clean these great shirts?
I want to keep them as new-looking as long as possible.

Erm....without stating the obvious, but look on the label.

I would say not, and the team shirts would be (probably) made to be wash commercially, which can be really harsh. So home washing would be comparitively nice and gentle. Try a gentle hand wash. Also some chemicals used in dry cleaning can be worse than washing.

Ive been putting my football shirts in the washing machine for years. Never had any fad. I have noiticed though that over the years they seem to shrink, particualy around the belly area.......either that or my belly is expanding

Thanks Mark. I'll try washing it by hand at first.
