HeeHeeHee.....I'm not gonna say nowt on that! (how to get the rest thinking suspicious thoughts.... )

But the Aussies have ways of saying things.....normally making me look subtle in the process.

In fact I'm gonna forward that on to my sis who lives in NSW.

(I think my favourite quote to come out of the Australian Road Safety Campaign people was on a board at the Aussie F1 GP one year. "If you drink and drive you're a bloody idiot". As I said.....subtle. Not)

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Like myself, say it like it is!

Funny, I was nearly born an Aussie ... but that's another story.

Not sure who lost out on that deal, England or Australia ... no smart arse comments please

We don't mince words. The "bloody idiot" campaign's been around for several years now, so much so that it's worked it's way into our vocabulary. When it first came out it showed drink-drivers with the words "bloody idiot" embossed on their foreheads as they staggered from pub to car.

We had another "not so subtle" add back in the early 80's when the AIDS epidemic first started showing a grim reaper complete with scythe bowling balls down a bowling alley towards people set up as bowling pins. Another AIDS one was about being aware that when you sleep with someone you're also sleeping with their history and showed a couple about to get into bed then she looks up to see thousands of beds lined up behind theirs with all of the people who'd slept with the people who'd slept with the people who'd slept with "her" guy. Subtle? No. Effective? Yes.

Great commercial! Unfortunately, we are way too uptight in this country to allow something like it to air.
