Anybody have the Triumph Workshop Manual printed by Triumph. Do you recommend this one (it covers the Bonneville, America, Speedmaster, etc) or are there others that are better for illustrations and technical information?

I have Triumph's manual and the Haynes manual as well. If I was to have just one I'd choose the Haynes. The diagrams for the America and Speedmaster that are available here on this site really compliment it.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I'll go along with that. I like having both, but if I were going to have only one - it would be the Haynes. It has more detail and a lot of additional helpful information along with pictures instead of drawings.

The Haynes manuals have better pictures than nearly all factory books I have ever seen. BUT, they are sometimes not very accurate as far as specifications go. I have one still in a box someplace that claims the head tightening sequence for a 251 inch flathead 6 will work for an OHV slant 6. (The flathead has 21 head bolts, the slant 6 has half that.)

So, if you can possibly afford it, get a Haynes book for the pictures and a factory one for more accuracy.

I checked the Haynes website and they do not list the manuals for the TBA, any suggestions on where to purchase would be welcome.

Thanks
