I'm re-drawing the schematics for the America/Speedmaster from the 2002 Triumph manual. I have a 2003 America. The schematics will be in PDF form.
I figured it would be nice to have them in case of problems while on the road.

The only way I can distribute them is via email since it will be a PDF (expect it to be 2 or 3 pages when complete).

It isn't finished yet. I need to include the charging, ignition, & turn-signals.

I have combined the lighting (including the Triumph lightbar) & starting schematics. I can email them to whoever wants them. Please review them and if you find any mistakes let me know.

Wow, that's a lot of work and a great contribution to the site. Thanks Jay!

There are numerous sites on the web that will host pdf files. Just do a Google search using -free pdf hosting- as the keywords.

Thanks for the positive response.
Plus anyone can email me at subtropiclogic@yahoo.com and I'll shoot them a copy.

I think finding a free host for the file(s) is a better route for me.

I googled for 'free pdf hosting' and found several sites. Any recommendations??

Does anyone know where the 'diode pack' for 'or-ing' the sidestand, clutch, & neutral switches is physically located?

Also, how did and where did Triumph jumper out the main lighting switch on the North American models?

There are a couple jumpers on the main harness plugs in the headlight, maybe one of them? When you get it done and posted online, let us know and I'll put an entry in the vault.

I bet you're right! Heck, I just had the headlamp off to check the headlight connections and didn't really look at the main harness connectors. But, I think I took pics!!

I've used the following link with good results in the past. They do automatically delete the file if it's inactive for 30 days, ie. no one dowloads it for a 30 day strectch.

Store&Serve

Got the file in the e-mail you sent. Thanks jay.

I've used Myfilehut.com, but I've tried it twice in the last couple of days and all I got was a "server not found" message. Try SnapDrive.net. It's free, you don't have to register, and they allow file sizes up to 20mb. Here's a list of other free file hosting sites if that one doesn't work out for you.

Glad you got it. I'll check out the file sharing when I'm done. I'm burnt out from working on it today. Here's a jpeg of a small portion of the second schematic, the ignition and charging page.

I figure one more sheet to capture all the lighting/auxillary stuff. Doesn't look too good as a jpeg, but when converted to pdf, it looks fine (albeit some fonts are small).
